Thomas Craig
My name is Thomas Craig, and I go to the John D. O’Bryant school. I am attending UMass Lowell in the fall where I will study engineering. It has always been hard for me to think of anything that matters more than the security and health of our environment and so I have always imagined I would do something to help it. I love hiking, swimming, and just taking in any nature I see. I am very interested in pursuing a career in green energy to help battle global warming.

Nathaniel Lord
Nathaniel Lord is a 2023 graduate of Natick High School and will attend the State of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry (SUNY ESF) in the fall, where he plans to major in Forest Health. Nate is a tree hugger by nature and an avid environmentalist at heart. He is an enthusiastic board member of Keep Natick Beautiful as well as the American Chestnut Foundation. He is also proud to serve on the Natick Trails and Forest Stewardship Committee. Nate’s friends gave him the nickname “Lorax” because of his love of trees and conservation, a passion he plans to pursue throughout his life. Nate hopes to conduct research that can help protect local tree species against an onslaught of threats associated with climate change and invasive species. He looks forward to a bright future in academia and hopes to spread the value of environmental stewardship wherever he goes.
